PKBM Nusantara Bersatu Opens Study Standard Class For Junior and Senior High Schol at Langsa Narcotics Prison
LANGSA CITY (ANN) – The Nusantara Bersatu Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) opened an equality learning class for inmates at the Langsa Narcotics Correctional Institution (Lapas).
The inauguration was marked by the signing between the Narcotics Head of Class II B Langsa Prison, Herman Anwar, Amd IP, SH with the Principal of the Nusantara Bersatu PKBM School at the local prison. Monday (16/08/2021).
The chairman of PKBM Nusantara Bersatu, Saifullah, SE told reporters that the existence of PKBM under his leadership aims to accommodate poor dropouts to continue their education.
“So that in the future there will be no more residents who do not have a diploma at the elementary, junior high and high school levels.”
“So we are trying our best to provide services to residents who have dropped out of school by opening classes in several Gampong (regencies), Dayah (Islamic Boarding School) and Langsa Narcotics Prisons,” he added. In addition,
The Deputy Chairman of the Langsa ‘s socity representative coucil (DPRK) also hopes that the existence of this class can help the Education Office in advancing education in Langsa City.
Meanwhile, Head of Narcotics Class II B Langsa Prison, Herman Anwar Amd IP, SH expressed his gratitude and greatly supported the activities of the Nusantara Bersatu PKBM which his presence really needed to give the inmates the opportunity to obtain diplomas equivalent to elementary, junior and senior high school.
“Alhamdulillah, with this PKBM, our assisted residents can continue their education and our party is also ready to support the implementation of the teaching and learning process in the prison he leads,” said Head of prison.
The inauguration of the class at the Langsa Narcotics Prison was closed with the signing of an agreement represented by the Langsa Narcotics Headquarters and the Principal of PKBM Nusantara Bersatu. (PO)
