Mario Teguh Enlightens MSME Talk, Opportunities and Challenges for the Future of MSMEs
JAKARTA, ANN – The encouragement for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to continue to improve competitiveness is increasingly widespread. The plan is that 30 million Indonesian MSMEs must be connected to the digital ecosystem by 2024.
To contribute to encouraging this target, the Journalists Association of the Republic of Indonesia [PWRI] Kinerjaekselen Group, Bina Sarana Informatika University [BSI] UMKIM Naik Kelas (Rise up the class) Community, and Mario Teguh Super Club [MTSC], held an MSME talk, at RM (restaurant) Bu Siti, At Sersan Aning street, Depok City, Saturday [October 28, 2023] afternoon.
A number of expert speakers were presented in the discussion themed “Opportunities and Challenges for the Future of MSMEs”, including Top Motivator Mario Teguh, Chairman of the UMKM Naik Kelas Community Raden Teddy and BSI University Lecturer Nurhidayati, MH.
Risdiana Wiryatni, as the organizer said, through this activity it is hoped that it can bring new inspirations for MSME players, especially in the Jabodetabek area to develop their business.
According to her, to achieve success, one must combine plans with concrete actions. If you already have an idea, you must have the courage to do it, whatever happens.
” We hope that MSME players can be encouraged, motivated and inspired by the experts who are speakers in this activity. There are Mr. Mario Teguh, Mr. Teddy and Ms. Nurhidayati. Hopefully it will be useful and can become energy in developing their business,” Risdiana told the media crew on Saturday [10/28].
Mario Teguh in his presentation said that if MSME players want to be successful, they must maintain service quality.
“So in MSMEs it’s not just about starting, but maintaining the continuity of service quality is more important,” said Mario Teguh.
Mario Teguh added, profit is important, but to continue to maintain the quality of service is more important,
The expert council of the UMKM Naik Kelas community said that his party was trying to bring the spirit of MSME players closer to perform better as individuals and business people.
MSME players, he said, must also know how to build good relationships.
“Success is personal, so if you want to be successful, you have to know how. MSME players know how to do it, so they will achieve what they want. Not everyone who tries it meets with success at the beginning of their journey,” said Mario.
Mario Teguh said that entrepreneurs must cultivate kindness and really make money.
“We benefit if we benefit others. Success is long-term, with the trading principle that we must sell, our goods are bought and bought again, bought more, bought more often,” Mario said.
Mario said, many people only buy their merchandise once, not buy it again because the service is lacking.
Raden Teddy, Chairperson of the Upgrade MSME Community, said that the current digital disruption has brought many changes in the community ecosystem, as well as the business environment. We must utilize it as a business opportunity.
MSME players, said Teddy, must adapt to the digital ecosystem.
“Being adaptive, collaborative, and innovative in developing knowledge and skills is the basis for us to be competitive in this era,” said Raden Teddy.
In his presentation, Raden Teddy also conveyed a number of tips, so that MSME players could be more advanced, competitive, and upscale.
The speaker from Bina Sarana Informatika University, Nurhidayati, in her presentation conveyed various strategies in making branding and brands.
Nurhidayati explained that brand is an important thing owned by business actors and is often said to be an asset of a business.
Therefore, a brand is an intellectual property right that should be protected by the state.
“In a business venture, one of the most important things is the existence of a brand. Thus, the trademark is something that needs legal protection, not only in a national way but also in an international way. In addition to functioning as an identity, a trademark is also a manifestation of intellectual property that needs to be protected through registration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Trademark is an intellectual property that is protected by the state,” he said.
The MSME Talk activity was opened by the Secretary General of the Central Leadership Council of the Journalists Association of the Republic of Indonesia [DPP PWRI] D. Supriyanto Jagad N.
In his remarks, Jagad hoped that this activity could educate MSME players, especially in Jabodetabek, to continue to innovate in developing their business. In the future, Jagad said, programs that are in direct contact with the community will continue to be carried out, as a form of PWRI’s commitment to participate in developing MSMEs in Indonesia.
Head of Tax Management Department of Bina Sarana Informatika University, Eka Dyah S, SE, MM in her speech said, this activity is a community service program of Bina Sarana Informatika University, Faculty of Economics and Business.
Through this program, said Dyah, PWRI-assisted MSME players can be more advanced, competitive, and inspired by the exposure of competent resource persons in running their business wheels.
In this event, a souvenir from Bina Sarana Informatika University was also handed over by the Head of Tax Management Department, Eka Dyah to Risdiana Wiryatni as the organizer.
