Notes of Dr. Suriyanto PD, SH, MH, M.Kn *)

Jakartab(ANN) | Every citizen of this republic certainly misses the whole Indonesia. Indonesia which is noble in character, peaceful, and truly reflects Indonesia. But that longing seems to have vanished, if we find rampant temper tantrums, ridicule among the nation’s children, rampant politically charged demonstrations are a sign that the scent of unity and oneness as fellow citizens has almost only become a discourse.

What’s more, some parties see other people as enemies, ironic, how wisdom as the spirit of this nation’s noble culture has become extinct.
These incidents are paradoxical not only to riot away from a sense of peace. This is also an anticlimax because fellow citizens have seen other people as worthy of suspicion and hostility. The first and foremost factor is weak thinking, loss of reference values. It’s easy to be ridden by political interests. This makes people so easily provoked.
Indonesia as an independent country and adheres to a democratic system with the characteristics of full sovereignty in the hands of the people, this is contained in the 1945 Constitution.

Which is the power of the state and its government to protect all of its people from all of Indonesia’s bloodshed who live in a plurality of various ethnicities and religions. live side by side.

To create true lasting peace.
Pancasila as a reference for the values of national and state life is a strong binder in the joints of social life that has lived from time to time on Indonesia’s motherland.

Lately there has been a lot of commotion that has torn apart democracy itself, such as the existence of radicalism movements calling for changing the state order that has been well-ordered from time to time established by our founding fathers by calling for the conversion of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia into an Islamic sharia state by misguided thinkers. who don’t want to know that Indonesia is an Islamic country, not an Islamic country, but an Islamic majority country that was clearly established based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution.
This group is also the one who tore apart real democracy, in fact this group has also been included in the order of important institutions in the Unitary State of Indonesia. This should be our concern as a great sovereign nation under the auspices of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
As has happened recently, the dispute between the National Police and the Corruption Eradication Commission has drawn a lot of public attention, in which the public does not necessarily know the true story.

For example, the days of demonstrations that took place in front of the Corruption Eradication Commission building were they sincere expressions of voicing democracy, and were the demonstrations that took place as pure expressions of opinion without any people or groups behind the demonstrators? This is important for the stakeholders in the Republic of Indonesia to know the truth so that the public is not fooled by the interests of any group. Democracy in expressing opinions must be pure as stipulated in the 1945 Constitution article 28.
It is very unfortunate what has happened in recent days, the chaos between the KPK and the National Police has not been able to provide good education to the Indonesian people.

Democracy cannot be carried out properly if there are still unscrupulous institutions paying for the actions taken.
As the next generation of the nation, we must realize that Indonesia, is a great nation and country that has gone through a very long historical journey, even thousands of years ago, the existence of humans who occupy a group of islands between (Nusantara, Nusantara) and continents. (Asia and Australia) and two oceans (Indian and Pacific), already exist and have given birth to a very large civilization.

Our greatness, as a nation, is now being questioned again. This can be seen, by the fading of our nationalism, the fading of our national commitment. And the sense of shared fate, our shared responsibility in the big house of Indonesia, is starting to tear.

As children of the nation, we hardly believe in our own strength as a nation, it seems that we cannot stand as an independent nation.
But in the midst of this nation’s journey, there are still our concerns as a cultured nation.

We see that there are still many debates that tend to divide unity and oneness, this shows that the attitude of respecting differences and diversity is still low. This problem is a problem that never ends, in the midst of the swift currents of globalization, and freedom of speech through social media.

On the basis of these assumptions, it is necessary to re-echo an awareness to respect one another, respect differences, including differences in perspectives on a nation and state issue.
Diversity is a difference between one individual and another.

Also diversity can be interpreted, as a willingness to accept the differences that exist in society, including the way of speaking, saying, so as not to tarnish and hurt each other. These values have disappeared.
We can pick up a musk orchestra playing philosophy, where there are many different types of musical instruments.

However, if we are able to play and mix and match these musical instruments in rhythm and harmony, it will produce such beautiful musical harmony.
