Langsa District Attorney’s Office Finds More Than Seven Hundred Million In Tirtanadi PDAM Corruption Case
LANGSA.ANN | The Langsa District Attorney’s Office has named the President Director of PDAM Tirta Keumuneng with the initials A as a suspect in the alleged corruption case of the procurement of alum stone chemicals for the 2020-2022 budget year.
In addition to the President Director of PDAM Tirta Keumuneng, the Attorney’s Office has also named two other suspects in the corruption case. They have the initials FR as Deputy Director of CV A and TS as the head of UD E.
“The three suspects have not been detained because investigators considered the three suspects to be cooperative,” said the Langsa District Attorney, Efrianto to the Media, Monday, September 2nd, 2024.
Efrianto explained that in this case irregularities were found that resulted in state losses of Rp784,861,832.60.
“The evidence found was in the form of financial management documents related to this case,” he said.
Efrianto said that in this case the investigators would try to file, so that the process of handling this case would be escalated to the next stage. Then immediately transferred to the green table.
Previously in 2023, the PDAM Tirtanadi Keumuneng director also had been rallied (Demo) by Hundred of mass, NGO’s regarding the monthly bills payment increase significanly and probably the cost been raised without negociate with the Langsa parliament council (DPRK). (PO)
