This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Bright Indonesia Party, Dr (Cn) Hj. Rizayati to the media crew in Jakarta, Sunday (23/1/2022). “The role of the younger generation in responding to environmental issues is very important.
We must encourage the young generation to move and do research on environmental damage. Including looking for solution ideas as a real step to overcome these problems, “said Hj. Rizayati.
“Young people should be more concerned about the environment to be more awake,” he continued. Hj. Rizayati revealed that the rate of environmental damage in Indonesia is very worrying due to arbitrary and irresponsible behavior, reckless and exploiting the environment without paying attention to the impact on sustainability.
“To prevent environmental damage, we must have innovations by applying alternative development patterns, namely sustainable development patterns.
This effort will involve all elements of society, especially the youth. And the Bright Indonesia Party, also has a strategic program on this environmental issue,” he explained.
This environmental problem, said the initiator of the Bright Indonesia Program, is a complex problem, because the root of the problem lies in interests and needs, the importance of high economic value forms a wrong pattern of work towards the environment, while pressing needs force humans to utilize the environment in an efficient manner.
