Central Jakarta District Court Refused PKPU’s Lawsuit Against PT. Imza Rizky Jaya Group

Jakarta (ANN) | After going through a long process and several trials, finally this afternoon, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, the PKPU Trial Decision at the Commercial Court, Central Jakarta District Court which was read by the Chairman of the Panel of Judges led by presiding judge Yusuf Pranowo, SHMH rejected PT Mediatama Cipta’s lawsuit. Citra and PT. Spectratama Perkasa against the respondent PT. Imza Rizky Jaya.

Present at the hearing to read the verdict, Dr. Drs. Sayid Fadhil, S.H. M. Hum, as the Legal Counsel for PT. Imza Rizky Jaya who is handling this PKPU lawsuit.

In this PKPU case, Sayid explained that his party continues to collect supporting documents as evidence to refute the evidence submitted by the applicant which does not have convincing legal force.

The Panel of Judges of the Central Jakarta District Court decided to reject the lawsuit of PT. Mediatama Cipta Citra to PT. IRJ Group in the trial reading the verdict.

“Declare that the PKPU Respondent, namely PT. Imza Rizky Jaya Group, having its address at The Plaza Office Tower Plaza Indonesia, 25th floor, Jl. MH. Thamrin Kavling 28-30, Central Jakarta, is in a state of Temporary Debt Payment Obligation (PKPU) with all the legal consequences,” read the Jakarta District Court Judges
Then appointed Judges of the Commercial Court and Central Jakarta District Court as Supervisory Judges to oversee the process of Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations.

“PT IRJ Group today has attended the trial of the commercial court decision at the Central Jakarta District Court which rejected the application for Postponement of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) by PT Mediatama Cipta Citra as a creditor,” Sayid said to the media crew.
Sayid said that Imza said he was relieved and grateful and would focus on business development after the rejection of the PKPU lawsuit.

“I immediately prayed and bowed in gratitude for the victory and the decision of the Panel of Judges which rejected PT. Mediatama’s lawsuit against PT. IRJ. This afternoon I am very satisfied and relieved with the verdict read by the judge,” said Sayid

Contacted separately, the President Director of PT. IRJ Group Dr. (Cn) Hj. Rizayati SH, MM revealed that with the evidence presented by his party, it was only natural that the Panel of Judges dismissed the lawsuit against PT. Mediatama.

“They have filed a PKPU lawsuit against PT. IRJ Group which does not make sense, with strong evidence that we have submitted so that it breaks their lawsuit and it is very natural that the Panel of Judges rejects it,” said Hj. Rizayati
PT. The IRJ Group, said the Acehnese entrepreneur, has worked according to the SOP and in accordance with applicable regulations.

“We have never harmed other parties in collaborating, everything we do is in accordance with the SOP, with the evidence we submit, all the lawsuits they submitted were rejected by the Central Jakarta District Court Judges,” he concluded.
